The Hybrid New Era Coffee Cup with Saucer Chucuito — designed by CTRLZAK Studio for Seletti — takes its name from the ancient Aymara settlement on the shores of Lake Titicaca, a civilisation that built temples into the altitude and traded across the roof of the Andes. That layered history arrives on fine bone porcelain, split by CTRLZAK's defining gesture: a vivid colour bar dividing East from West.
On one side, chinoiserie florals and scrolling cloud-bands from Chinese export porcelain tradition. On the other, European baroque motifs — cartouches, heraldic ornament, neoclassical friezes. The seam between them is not a compromise; it is the entire point of the Hybrid line. Held in the hand during a coffee moment, this is the most intimate place to encounter that argument.
