Product Details
The letter B belongs to names like Badr, Beatrice, Bilal, and Bianca — characters with presence, warmth, and a story worth telling. This Ortigia placemat from Baci Milano brings that initial to the dining table in full Sicilian Baroque style: bold letterforms, vivid Mediterranean color, and the kind of graphic energy that turns an ordinary place setting into a curated moment.
The collection takes its name from Ortigia, the ancient island heart of Syracuse — where Baroque stone façades, open-air markets, and the scent of lemon groves create an atmosphere that is impossible to ignore. Woven in quality cotton, this placemat carries those opulent motifs to the table with warmth and texture: noticed before the first dish is served.
For Dubai homes that take their hosting seriously — villa dinners, shaded terrace gatherings, occasions where every detail earns its place — the Ortigia B placemat pairs naturally with the matching letter mug or mini tray for a personalized Italian-design table story.

Care & Use
Woven cotton textile, often finished to help everyday food and wine spills lift more easily. It is laundered as fabric: machine-wash at 30°C maximum, line-dry or lay flat, and iron at medium temperature while slightly damp.
Care: Machine-wash on a gentle cycle with mild, non-bleach detergent, keeping similar colours together; treat spills promptly before they set.
Avoid: Bleach, which strips the finish and colour; high-heat tumble-drying and dry-cleaning solvents, which weaken the weave; and leaving food or wine stains to dry in.
Suitable for: Everyday family dining, formal table dressing and shaded terrace settings.

Ortigia
Ortigia is named for the island heart of Syracuse — Baroque architecture, Greek ruins and market colour distilled into tableware. Majolica-bright oranges, blues and yellows carry Sicilian symbols and ornate Baroque letterforms across melamine dinner sets, antistain cotton linens and porcelain — including monogram mugs and mini trays lettered A to V for personalised gifting.
