Stories of Italy's Amethyst Bucket Lamp is a designer Murano glass table lamp and a sculptural object in the same breath. The flower-shaped base is mouth-blown in Venice's Murano using the Nougat technique: deep amethyst glass shards are physically fused into an ivory crystal ground — not painted, not applied, constructed inside the furnace. No two bases are identical.
The amethyst-and-ivory surface shifts with the room's light — jewel-saturated in the afternoon, warmer and more diffused by evening. Brass hardware anchors the composition in quiet precision, while a champagne-coloured fabric cord runs to a cotton lampshade with a removable cover, leaving the piece open to personalisation as a room evolves over time.
