Mia Topazio Lamp - Charlottina

Mia Topazio is Charlottina Design's flagship table lamp: a hand-cast resin column anchored by a large sphere in warm, amber-gold Topazio, set on a square base cast in dark, transparent Nero trasparente. The dark base settles the eye before the light reaches it, anchoring the piece on a console or sideboard.

Above the sphere, a large faceted cube in soft Verde chiaro and a smaller one in sky-toned Celeste continue the climb, each edge cut away and the block balanced on a point so it reads as a cut gem, not a box. A full-size cotton shade in bright Giallo closes the stack, softening the colour the transparent modules carry upward.

Every module is cast and finished by hand in a Roman family workshop, brass fittings warm each joint, and the Charlottina name is written in script across the base — a small mark on an object meant to be studied switched off as much as lit. The modules can be recomposed over time, the point of the system.

Off, the sphere and cubes hold a console or a majlis corner as sculpture; on, amber and sky tones layer through the resin before the shade settles into an even glow. It suits a reception room, a bedside refresh, or a design-led housewarming gift.
