Fine porcelain tableware with a durable vitrified body and hard, glazed, food-safe surface that resists staining and odour. Plain undecorated porcelain tolerates everyday use and the microwave, but any gold, platinum or metallic detailing must never be microwaved; porcelain is not for the oven or freezer and can crack under sudden thermal shock.
Care: Hand-wash decorated, metallic or hand-painted pieces in warm water with mild soap and a soft sponge, then dry immediately; plain undecorated pieces may go on a gentle or top-rack dishwasher cycle.
