Care & Use
Durable vitrified porcelain with a hard, glazed, food-safe surface that resists staining and odour. Plain undecorated pieces tolerate everyday use and the microwave, while any 24 kt gold, platinum or metallic detailing must never be microwaved; porcelain is not for the oven or freezer and can crack under sudden thermal shock.
Care: Hand-wash gold, platinum, metallic or hand-painted pieces in warm water with mild soap and a soft sponge, then dry immediately; plain undecorated pieces may be washed by hand or on a gentle/top-rack dishwasher cycle.
Avoid: Microwaving metallic decoration; sudden hot-to-cold temperature changes; the oven and freezer; abrasive pads, steel wool, scouring powders, undiluted bleach, knocks and drops.
Suitable for: Formal dining, tea and coffee service, plated courses, desserts and considered table settings.
