Ipazia is a city you can only reach through Marco Polo's stories — layered, elusive, never quite what its surface implies. CTRLZAK Studio borrowed that quality for this bone china dinner plate from Seletti's Hybrid collection: a coupe split by a vivid graphic seam, Eastern chinoiserie on one side, European heraldic ornament on the other.
The dividing line is the real design gesture. It refuses to blend the two vocabularies — it holds them in deliberate tension, making each more saturated by contrast. Chinoiserie peonies face baroque cartouches at the scale of a dining table. This is a plate that reads as a graphic statement before anyone picks up a fork.
For design-literate homes and hospitality settings in Dubai and across the Gulf, Hybrid Ipazia works as a centrepiece cover or built into a deliberately mismatched service with other named-city plates.
Mix with Eusapia, Isaura, or any Hybrid New Era piece — the whole point is non-matching by design, every cover its own Calvino city.
