The kintsugi tradition holds that a broken object, repaired in gold, becomes more precious than the original. Seletti inverts this: nothing here was ever broken. The gold veins on Soup Plate Three are deliberate fiction — an imagined history of fractures rendered in precious metal. This third numbered variant carries its own branching topology, distinct from Soup Plate Two, so every place setting tells a different repair story.
