The Palla Pitcher is the piece that started it all. In 2007, this globe-shaped acrylic pitcher launched the Mario Luca Giusti universe from a Florentine atelier — and its spherical silhouette has remained the brand's most recognizable form in the Synthetic Crystal family ever since.
Its sphere deceives at first glance: the form reads like heavy cut crystal, yet the Palla sits almost weightless in the hand. Light catches its curved body and bends through it — clear to amber, transparent to deep ruby — depending on the color at the table. This is Florentine design at its most quietly irreverent: all the grandeur of a crystal decanter, engineered in premium acrylic for a table that has no patience for fragile things.
On a villa terrace or a yacht aft deck in Dubai, the Palla commands the table before the first pour. Its silhouette moves easily between a linen-dressed dinner and a sunlit poolside gathering — the natural centrepiece of a coordinated Italian-designed service.
Pair it with the Dolce Vita or Winston glassware to build a complete Florentine table, or let it stand alone as the statement piece it has always been.

Food-grade acrylic, also called synthetic crystal, is lightweight, shatter-resistant and crystal-clear for drinkware and serveware. It is comfortable with chilled and room-temperature drinks, but not microwave-safe, not oven-safe and not for boiling or very hot liquids, which can cloud or warp the material; prolonged direct sunlight can dull clarity over time.
Care: Hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and a soft cloth, then rinse and pat dry; plain undecorated pieces may go on the dishwasher's top rack on a cool cycle below 50°C, while hand-decorated pieces should always be hand-washed. Wash promptly after dairy, coffee, tea or alcohol.
Avoid: Microwave, oven and freezer; dishwasher cycles above 50°C; boiling or very hot liquids; prolonged alcohol or aniseed-drink contact; prolonged direct sun; abrasive pads, steel wool, bleach, benzene and strong solvents; metal stirrers and knife contact that scratch the surface.
Suitable for: Terrace and garden dining, poolside and yacht service, and outdoor entertaining.
Mario Luca Giusti was born in Florence in a culturally rich environment full of stimulus. Since his early childhood he was initiated to beauty and observation and therefore started his aesthetic research for harmony implementing his love for antique with his passion for modern, giving birth to refreshing new shapes and colors.
Mario Luca Giusti grew up in Florence, surrounded by a culturally rich environment that shaped his early appreciation for beauty, form, and observation. Drawing inspiration from classical aesthetics and Italian heritage, he developed a unique vision that blends the elegance of antique design with a contemporary sensibility. His collections reinterpret traditional shapes through modern materials and vibrant colors, creating distinctive objects that bring lightness, character, and a fresh perspective to everyday tableware and home living.
