The Girasole Cake Stand turns a sunflower into a centrepiece. Designed in Florence by Mario Luca Giusti, its Synthetic Crystal acrylic base rises from a sculpted sunflower-relief — a botanical silhouette cast in premium polymer that catches the light like cut crystal and weighs almost nothing in the hand.
This is Mario Luca Giusti's signature trick: forms that should be fragile, made fearless. *Girasole* — Italian for sunflower — takes the warmth of an Italian summer garden and reinterprets it as a Baroque-spirited stand ready for the most contemporary dessert table. The sculpted base plays with light and shadow the way a faceted crystal bowl would, except this one survives a terrace breeze or a child's elbow without a second thought.
In Dubai, the dessert table is a gesture — a villa gathering, an evening of family celebrations, a carefully curated gift.
