Kintsugi Glass One is the first of three numbered tumblers in Seletti's Kintsugi collection — each carrying its own unrepeatable map of imagined gold seams, distinct from every other piece in the series.
The Japanese craft of kintsugi holds that a fracture filled with gold becomes the most precious part of an object. Seletti's reading is conceptual: nothing here has ever broken. The 24kt gold veins across Glass One's surface are invented fault lines rendered permanent in precious metal. In clear glass the effect is peculiar and precise — gold floats suspended inside the material, visible through every face of the tumbler, as though a repair were caught mid-moment and held there forever.
For Dubai interiors and evening gatherings, this is the piece guests ask about before they drink from it. It holds a cocktail or a long sparkling water with equal ease — but its primary register is sculptural.
Glass One is part of a deliberate trio: pair it with Glass Two and Glass Three for a non-matching set in which every vein pattern tells a different story.
