Leopardo Olla Vase - Stories of Italy

The Leopardo Olla is Stories of Italy's animal-world statement — amber and brown glass shards fused across the generous Olla form using the Macchia su Macchia technique. Where other pieces in the range draw from flowers and seasons, this one takes a warmer, bolder register: leopard markings translated into mouth-blown Murano glass.

Macchia su Macchia means "Spot on Spot." Brown and amber shards are pressed into the body while the glass is still on the master's pipe in Murano, settling into organic drifts that can never be repeated. The Olla's amphora-proportioned silhouette — wide-shouldered and generously curved — gives those patterns room to move. Each piece is hand-finished by master glassmakers in Venice; no two are ever identical.
