Honeycomb geometry catches the eye across this Hive soup plate, turning a deep porcelain form into a lively setting for soups, broths, risotto, and first courses.
Designed by Salvatore Izzo for Weissestal, Hive takes its cue from the precise architecture of bees and the quiet beauty of their work. The pattern feels graphic without becoming severe, while real 12-karat gold thread is applied by hand to add a warm, refined edge. It is Italian designer porcelain with a playful sense of order.
On the table, the soup plate gives depth to the Hive service and works especially well for sunny lunches, garden meals, brunch menus, and relaxed formal dinners. Pair it with the matching dinner and dessert plates for a complete honeycomb porcelain setting, or use it as a bright accent beside plain gold-rimmed Salvatore Izzo companion pieces.

Care & Use
Care: Wash by hand in warm water with a mild soap and a soft sponge. Rinse and dry straight away with a soft cloth, and wash soon after use rather than leaving food to dry on the glaze.
Avoid: The dishwasher, microwave, oven and tumble dryer; sudden temperature changes such as boiling liquid poured into a cold piece; abrasive pads, scouring powders and bleach, which scratch the glaze and wear hand-applied decoration; and knocks or unprotected stacking, which chip rims.
Suitable for: Everyday and formal dining, tea and coffee service, and serving at the table.
