The dessert course on a Ligurian terrace deserves its own stage. These six fine porcelain plates from Baci Milano's Portofino collection carry the collection's defining illusion: the vocabulary of the jeweller's atelier — pearl strings, ornamental clasps, gilded chain-link scrollwork — dissolves into the imagery of the sea, reappearing as branching coral, curved shells, and the quiet glint of marine life beneath the surface.
Coral red and ivory cream anchor the palette, offset by pearl-white porcelain and gold-tone detail. The result is sophisticated and radiant in equal measure — precisely the register of Portofino itself, where elegance never tips into formality.
A set of six is the natural choice for a dinner party in a Dubai villa, for a hotel restaurant laying a considered table, or for a yacht service where every course is its own moment. The Portofino range extends across melamine, antistain cotton textiles, and velvet — so these Italian designer dessert plates slot effortlessly into a fully coordinated Riviera scheme, from first course to last.

Food-safe premium melamine — tasteless, odourless and BPA-free, independently tested and certified (TUV, SGS, Intertek). It is rated from about -10 C to +50 C, accepts brief freezing, and is not microwave-safe or oven-safe under any circumstances.
Care: Wash by hand or on the dishwasher's standard top rack with mild detergent and a soft sponge; hand-wash any gold-detailed or hand-painted pieces, and rinse promptly after turmeric, saffron or other strong pigments.
Avoid: The microwave and oven; extended freezer storage; cutting directly on the surface; abrasive pads; and leaving strong pigments to sit, since they can stain.
Suitable for: Terrace dining, garden and poolside service, family meals and buffet hosting.
Portofino captures the Ligurian Riviera at its most glamorous: pearls, chains and precious ornaments that dissolve, mid-pattern, into corals, fish and shells. The jeweller-turned-marine motif flows across porcelain, premium melamine, antistain cotton and velvet cushions in coral red, Mediterranean blue and ivory — one print, four materials, endlessly combinable.
