Care & Use
Food-grade acrylic, also known as synthetic crystal, is lightweight, shatter-resistant and crystal-clear. It is comfortable with chilled and room-temperature drinks and outdoor use, but not microwave-safe, oven-safe or suitable for boiling or very hot liquids; freezing should also be avoided.
Care: Hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and a soft cloth, then rinse and pat dry; plain pieces may go on the dishwasher's top rack on a cool cycle below 50°C, while hand-decorated pieces should always be hand-washed.
Avoid: Microwave, oven and freezer use; dishwasher cycles above 50°C; boiling or very hot liquids; prolonged direct sun, alcohol or aniseed drinks; abrasive pads, steel wool, bleach, benzene, strong solvents, metal stirrers and knife contact.
Suitable for: Terrace and garden dining, poolside service, yacht service and outdoor entertaining.
