The Cake Plate from Baci Milano's Firenze collection is a statement in Italian fine porcelain — wide enough to anchor any table, decorated with the layered geometries and soft pastels that make Firenze one of Casa Baci's most inventive collections.
Firenze takes its visual language from Renaissance Florence: the inlaid stone patterns of Tuscan churches, the architectural ornament of the pietre dure tradition, reframed as contemporary tableware. Baci Milano translates those classical references into something lighter and more playful — six pastel shades meeting six distinct geometric patterns in compositions the brand describes as dreamlike, pop, and surreal.
In a Dubai home or boutique hotel setting, the Firenze Cake Plate moves comfortably between art object and dining centrepiece. Displayed on a sideboard between family celebrations, or placed at the heart of an afternoon-tea spread, it brings quiet presence to the table.
Complete the setting with the Firenze teapot and sugar bowl — or build the full mix-and-match table from the six-shade collection.

Care & Use
Durable vitrified porcelain with a hard, glazed, food-safe surface that resists staining and odour. Plain, undecorated porcelain tolerates everyday use and the microwave, while pieces with gold, platinum, metallic or hand-painted decoration must be hand-washed and never microwaved; porcelain is not for the oven or freezer and can crack under sudden thermal shock.
Care: Wash plain pieces by hand or in the dishwasher on a gentle or top-rack cycle with mild detergent; hand-wash decorated pieces in warm water with mild soap and a soft sponge, dry immediately, and wash promptly after acidic or strongly coloured foods.
Avoid: Microwaving any metallic-decorated piece; the oven and freezer; sudden temperature changes such as boiling liquid in a cold piece; abrasive pads, steel wool, scouring powders, undiluted bleach, knocks and drops.
Suitable for: Formal and everyday dining, tea and coffee service, plated desserts and considered table settings.
More from This Collection
Firenze
Firenze sets six tables at once: six pastels — powder pink, sage, sky blue, soft yellow, rose and ivory — across six geometries echoing Renaissance Florence, from marquetry patterns to architectural rosettes. Porcelain, cotton textiles, velvet cushions and a pouf share the palette, inviting mix-and-match styling that drifts from the dining room into the home.
