Deep Marsala red pools around the rim of this Cottage soup plate, framing broths, risotto, and first courses with a rich wine-toned edge. Made in Italian porcelain by Weissestal, it belongs to the Cottage family, the brand's everyday line shaped around colour, texture, and relaxed table settings.
The surface is finished with hand-applied reactive glaze, then transformed in the kiln into speckles, droplets, and darker areas of colour. That variation is central to Cottage: each plate carries a softly weathered, vintage effect without feeling formal or fragile.
