A square base in solid black opens this Sakura lamp from Charlottina Design, the Roman atelier that hand-casts every resin element. Two large faceted cubes in a warm Topazio tone rise above it, corners cut away and each block balanced on a point; three smaller cubes in the same solid black continue the run, closed off by a black cotton shade at the top.
Sakura is built on repetition rather than mass — no sphere anchors the column, only a run of cut resin blocks that turns one silhouette into a rhythm. Read bottom to top it moves from solid black to topaz and back to black, so the eye keeps travelling instead of settling on a single shape. Every module is cast and assembled by hand in the family's Rome workshop, and the stack can be rebuilt with different pieces later.
Switched off, it holds a console or entrance table as sculpture on its own; switched on, the topaz blocks warm against the black while the cotton shade softens the light above. It suits a majlis corner as easily as a new-home refresh, and makes a design-led gift for someone who notices what a room is built from.

A wired table lamp built from hand-cast resin modules joined with brass fittings, under a cotton shade. It is an electrical piece, so no part is ever immersed in water; the shade is sensitive to damp, and prolonged sun or direct heat can fade the shade and dull the resin and brass.
Care: Unplug the lamp and let it cool fully before cleaning. Dust the base and shade regularly with a soft, dry cloth; if needed, wipe the base with a barely damp cloth and mild soap and dry it at once. Keep the shade dry at all times, as cotton can water-stain or warp.
Avoid: Water on the wiring or electrical fitting, and immersing or submerging any part; damp rooms and splashes that stain or warp the shade; and prolonged direct sun or heat sources such as radiators, which fade the shade and dull the base.
Suitable for: Accent lighting on a console, side table, sideboard or reading corner in indoor living and dining spaces.
Sakura and Sakura Mignon turn Charlottina’s resin modules toward a rounder, more floral reading of colour: spheres and cubes stacked into a compact column, finished with brass and a cotton shade. Sakura sits on a console; Sakura Mignon is the same idea at a closer scale.
