The Kintsugi Mug by Seletti reframes a daily ritual into something worth noticing. Read more...
The Kintsugi Mug by Seletti reframes a daily ritual into something worth noticing. Fine white porcelain is traced with 24kt gold seams — imagined fault lines on an object that has never once broken, yet carries the full visual weight of something exquisitely repaired. This is the kintsugi philosophy distilled to its quietest form: beauty that insists on being seen.
Unlike the smaller espresso-format coffee cups in the collection, the mug's larger body gives the gold-vein map room to breathe. Each piece carries a distinct branching topology — lines that radiate organically, no two patterns alike — in keeping with the Japanese tradition where every break, real or imagined, is singular.
A thoughtful presence in a Dubai home, whether on a kitchen counter that takes design seriously or wrapped as a gift for someone who collects with intention. Pair with Kintsugi Bowl One, Two, or Three to build a deliberately non-matching table — one where each piece earns a second look.

Fine porcelain tableware with a hard, glazed, food-safe surface, finished with 24 kt gold seams. Porcelain resists staining and odour but can chip on impact and crack under sudden thermal shock; because these pieces have metallic detailing, they are not microwave-safe, oven-safe or freezer-safe.
Care: Hand-wash with warm water, mild soap and a soft sponge, then dry immediately; rinse promptly after acidic or strongly coloured foods.
Avoid: The microwave, where gold trim can spark and craze; the oven and freezer; sudden hot-cold temperature changes; abrasive pads, steel wool, scouring powders, undiluted bleach, knocks and drops.
Suitable for: Formal dining, tea and coffee service, plated starters, desserts and considered table settings.
Created by Marcantonio for Seletti, this collection borrows the philosophy of kintsugi with a twist: nothing here was ever broken. Seams of 24-karat gold trace imagined cracks across white porcelain bowls and clear glass tumblers, each numbered piece — One, Two, Three — carrying its own vein pattern, so no two are alike.
