Sakura Verde Lamp - Charlottina

Sakura Verde is a modular table lamp from Charlottina Design's Roman family atelier, built as a column of separately hand-cast resin blocks rather than one continuous form. Where some silhouettes in this Italian lighting system centre on a sphere, Sakura works entirely in cut geometry — a graphic, stacking argument that reads as pattern before it reads as a lamp.

Read the column from the ground up: a square base cast in solid black carries two large faceted cubes in Vinaccio, a deep wine resin, each one cut at the corners and set on a point so it catches light like a stone rather than a box. Three smaller cubes return to solid black above them, stepping the silhouette down before it meets a full-size cotton shade in green — the loudest colour move in the piece, and the one a room reads first.

Switched off, the black-and-wine column holds a console, entrance table, or majlis corner on geometry alone. Switched on, the shade carries the green through the room while the resin blocks beneath stay solid and grounded — a considered addition for anyone styling a reception space or building a design-led gift around a genuinely modular Italian piece.
