Product Details
The Inside Out Rim Bowl from Baci Milano's Avant Guard Luna collection turns the conventional salad bowl on its head — literally. Its signature inverted-wing rim folds inward in a single sculptural gesture, transforming a vessel into an architectural statement. Pure white melamine, pure form.
Luna takes its design cue from the moon's surface — those fluid, concentric ripples that suggest both stillness and motion. The Inside Out Rim profile adds a further layer: where most bowls frame their contents, this one enfolds them, creating a more intimate presentation plane that lifts every salad course into a moment of gastronomic theatre.
Built for demanding service contexts — restaurants, hotel dining rooms, superyacht galleys, catering operations — the premium melamine construction delivers the visual language of fine porcelain with the resilience that high-frequency professional use demands. Lightweight enough for poolside service during Dubai's outdoor season, structured enough for a fine-dining table.
A natural anchor piece within the Avant Guard collection: pair with Luna pasta bowls and Satellite plates for a fully resolved, chef-curated setting.

Care & Use
Food-safe premium melamine — tasteless, odourless and BPA-free, independently tested and certified (TUV, SGS, Intertek). It is lightweight, highly resistant to scratches and breakage, and rated from about -10 C to +50 C; short-term freezing is acceptable, but it is never microwave-safe or oven-safe.
Care: Wash on a standard dishwasher top-rack cycle, or hand-wash with mild soap and a soft sponge; hand-wash any gold-detailed or hand-painted pieces, and rinse promptly after turmeric, saffron or other strong pigments.
Avoid: The microwave and oven; extended time in the freezer; cutting directly on the surface; strong pigments left to sit; and dishwasher heat or harsh detergent on metallic trims.
Suitable for: Restaurants, terraces, gardens, poolside service, catering and high-volume hospitality.
More from This Collection
Avant Guard
Avant Guard speaks the language of haute cuisine: pure white, sculptural, undecorated — the food becomes the colour. Six sub-ranges each explore a single design idea, from Luna's lunar ripples and Satellite's grand plating plates to Viceversa's flip-and-reverse dual-function pieces.
