Description

A porcelain rectangular tray from the Portofino collection — Baci Milano's tribute to the Ligurian Riviera rendered in designer tableware form.

The Portofino print finds its fullest expression on this open surface: a tableau where the jeweller's vocabulary dissolves into the sea. Pearl strings and ornamental clasps transform into coral branches and shell motifs across the print — Baci Milano's defining design logic, displayed here in a single unbroken view. The effect is radiant and unhurried, like fine jewellery caught in afternoon light along a Riviera terrace.

In Dubai, a tray of this quality earns a permanent place on a marble sideboard or villa console well before the guests arrive. It anchors a majlis arrangement, frames an afternoon tea setting, or serves as the centrepiece of a coordinated table alongside the matching Portofino porcelain plates and cups.

Pair it with the full Portofino range — plates, tea sets, and antistain cotton textiles — for a unified Riviera scheme that moves from dining room to terrace.

Care & Use

Food-safe premium melamine — tasteless, odourless and BPA-free, independently tested and certified (TUV, SGS, Intertek). It is rated from about -10 C to +50 C, accepts brief freezing, and is not microwave-safe or oven-safe under any circumstances.

Care: Wash by hand or on the dishwasher's standard top rack with mild detergent and a soft sponge; hand-wash any gold-detailed or hand-painted pieces, and rinse promptly after turmeric, saffron or other strong pigments.

Avoid: The microwave and oven; extended freezer storage; cutting directly on the surface; abrasive pads; and leaving strong pigments to sit, since they can stain.

Suitable for: Terrace dining, garden and poolside service, family meals and buffet hosting.

Portofino

Portofino captures the Ligurian Riviera at its most glamorous: pearls, chains and precious ornaments that dissolve, mid-pattern, into corals, fish and shells. The jeweller-turned-marine motif flows across porcelain, premium melamine, antistain cotton and velvet cushions in coral red, Mediterranean blue and ivory — one print, four materials, endlessly combinable.
