Six melamine soup plates from Baci Milano's Joke Table & Kitchen collection make the pasta course, broth service, or cream-soup moment feel considered rather than casual. Designed at Casa Baci in Milan, each plate carries the collection's distinctive microbead rim — a tactile, ornamental bead detail running along the perimeter — finished in a soft pastel tone from Baci Milano's signature muted palette.
Joke Table & Kitchen was built on a simple Italian premise: the outdoor and family table deserves the same design attention as a formal dining room, without the fragility that comes with it. On a soup plate specifically, that philosophy plays out in the wide, rimmed form — generous enough for pasta or broth, composed enough to photograph — in a pastel that feels more sun-bleached Riviera than mass-produced kitchenware.
In a Gulf villa or garden dining setup, this set earns its place at every meal. The pastel colourways mix and match across the Joke Table & Kitchen range, so these soup plates coordinate naturally with the Joke dinner and dessert plates for a complete 18-piece Italian melamine service. Six identical pieces make the set equally strong as a housewarming gift for anyone building a considered outdoor table from scratch.

Care & Use
Food-safe premium melamine — tasteless, odourless and BPA-free, independently tested and certified (TUV, SGS, Intertek). It is rated from about -10 C to +50 C, accepts short-term freezing, but is not microwave-safe or oven-safe and should not be kept in the freezer for prolonged storage.
Care: Use the dishwasher on a standard top-rack cycle, or hand-wash with mild soap and a soft sponge; hand-wash gold-detailed or hand-painted pieces in warm water to protect metallic trims and applied finishes.
Avoid: The microwave and oven; extended freezer storage; strong knife-cutting that can scratch the surface; and leaving turmeric, saffron or other strong pigments unwashed.
Suitable for: Terrace, garden and poolside dining, casual family meals, buffet service and high-volume hospitality.
