Food-safe premium melamine — tasteless, odourless and BPA-free, independently tested and certified (TÜV, SGS, Intertek). Comfortable from about -10°C to +50°C and fine for short-term freezing, but not microwave-safe or oven-safe under any circumstances, including gold-detailed pieces. Highly resistant to scratches and breakage, though not indestructible.

Care: Dishwasher-safe on a standard top-rack cycle, rated for 1000+ commercial cycles without losing its finish. Hand-wash gold-detailed or hand-painted pieces in warm water with mild soap and a soft sponge, as dishwasher heat and detergent wear metallic trims over time.

Avoid: The microwave and oven; prolonged freezer storage, which degrades the resin; cutting directly on the surface, which scratches even premium grades; and leaving turmeric, saffron or other strong pigments to sit, as they can stain.

Suitable for: Outdoor dining on terraces, gardens and poolside, casual family meals, and high-volume hosting.
