Calypso — the sea-nymph who held wanderers spellbound — lends her name to one of Mario Luca Giusti's most singular creations. A rechargeable LED lamp with a pleated dome silhouette that pools warm light across any surface, it extends the brand's Florentine design logic from the table into the room itself.
Designed in via della Vigna Nuova, Florence, the Calypso plays with illumination the way a Lente tumbler plays with water — bending it, softening it, turning an ordinary surface into something quietly theatrical. The brass-accented acrylic dome speaks the brand's signature register: Baroque in form, unafraid in feeling, Synthetic Crystal translated into light.
