Mario Luca Giusti

Italia Water Glass

The Italia Water Glass by Mario Luca Giusti is a quiet homage to Italian national identity — a faceted acrylic tumbler whose warm colour palette draws directly from the tricolor: green, white, and red expressed through the saturated, light-bending tones that Florentine Synthetic Crystal does best. Italia belongs to a brand that names each piece like a character and means every name. Here, the character is the nation itself. The faceted acrylic body catches and refracts light exactly as cut crystal would — with none of the weight and none of the fragility. An irreverent Florentine idea: honour a five-century tradition of Italian craft by setting it free from the dinner table's usual anxieties.

For Dubai's terrace lunches and villa dining rooms, the Italia Water Glass brings a point of considered design to every pour. Pair it with the Italia Wine Glass for a matched ensemble that wears its Italian signature with ease.

Food-grade acrylic, also called synthetic crystal, is lightweight, shatter-resistant and crystal-clear for drinkware and serveware. It is comfortable with chilled and room-temperature drinks, but not microwave-safe, not oven-safe and not for boiling or very hot liquids, which can cloud or warp the material; prolonged direct sunlight can dull clarity over time.

Care: Hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and a soft cloth, then rinse and pat dry; plain undecorated pieces may go on the dishwasher's top rack on a cool cycle below 50°C, while hand-decorated pieces should always be hand-washed. Wash promptly after dairy, coffee, tea or alcohol.

Avoid: Microwave, oven and freezer; dishwasher cycles above 50°C; boiling or very hot liquids; prolonged alcohol or aniseed-drink contact; prolonged direct sun; abrasive pads, steel wool, bleach, benzene and strong solvents; metal stirrers and knife contact that scratch the surface.

Suitable for: Terrace and garden dining, poolside and yacht service, and outdoor entertaining.
