Optical plays chess with op-art. Two iconic pieces — the Knight's horse head and the crowned Queen — wear black-and-white geometric illusions across three sizes, sculpted in polyresin substantial enough to serve as bookends. Pair black against white for a frozen mid-game, or line up the sizes for layered display depth. Strict monochrome discipline with a sense of humour: surrealism that holds its own on any shelf.
