Designed by Andrea Castrignano for Weissestal’s Wallpaper collection, Hombre uses an illustrative figure study with an editorial, line-drawn character. The decoration comes from Castrignano’s own drawings, applied as a screen-printed underglaze decal and fired into high-quality porcelain at 1160 degrees, so the artwork feels integrated with the surface rather than simply placed on top.

As a porcelain place card holder, it suits hosted dinners where seating, rhythm, and visual order matter. Use it to frame a guest name, mark a tasting menu, or add a design-led accent beside patterned dinner plates and bread plates from the same line.
