Care & Use

Fine porcelain with a durable vitrified body and hard, glazed, food-safe surface that resists staining and odour. Plain undecorated porcelain tolerates everyday microwave use, but any gold, platinum, metallic or hand-painted detail must never be microwaved; porcelain is not for the oven or freezer and can crack under sudden thermal shock.

Care: Wash promptly after use; use a gentle or top-rack dishwasher cycle only for plain undecorated pieces, and hand-wash decorated pieces in warm water with mild soap and a soft sponge, then dry immediately.

Avoid: Microwave use on metallic or hand-painted decoration; oven and freezer use; sudden hot-to-cold changes; abrasive pads, steel wool, scouring powders, undiluted bleach, knocks and drops.

Suitable for: Formal dining, tea and coffee service, desserts, gifting and considered table settings.
