Care & Use

Fine vitrified porcelain with a hard, glazed, food-safe surface that resists staining and odour. Plain undecorated pieces tolerate everyday use and the microwave, while any 24 kt gold, platinum or metallic detailing must never be microwaved; porcelain is not for the oven or freezer and can crack under sudden thermal shock.

Care: Wash plain undecorated pieces by hand or on a gentle/top-rack dishwasher cycle with mild detergent; hand-wash gold, metallic or hand-painted pieces in warm water with mild soap and a soft sponge, then dry immediately.

Avoid: Microwaving metallic decoration; sudden hot-to-cold temperature changes; knocks and drops; abrasive pads, steel wool, scouring powders, undiluted bleach and prolonged contact with acidic or strongly coloured foods.

Suitable for: Formal and everyday dining, tea and coffee service, plated starters, pasta and desserts.
