Mac Sitting is the defining gesture of Seletti's iconic Mouse Lamp series — a cartoon mouse settled into a seated pose, holding a bulb aloft as if it were always part of the job. This is pop-art designer lighting, and it makes no apologies for it.

Created by Selab and Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba, the Mouse Lamp series is one of Seletti's most recognisable moves: casting the world's most familiar cartoon archetype in resin and assigning it a function. Mac Sitting works the conceptual angle differently than his standing counterpart — the seated pose is almost companionable, which makes the joke land that much harder. A small sculpture doing exactly what a lamp does, in exactly the way you didn't expect.

In a Dubai villa, a boutique hotel suite, or a design-forward apartment, Mac Sitting earns its place equally as a bedside lamp or a shelf accent. The kind of piece guests notice first and ask about second.

For gifting, it's a natural — design-literate, instantly legible, and unmistakably Seletti.

A wired electrical lamp with a model-dependent base, such as porcelain, Murano glass or resin, and usually a cotton or paper shade. It must be kept dry, unplugged and cool before cleaning; prolonged sun or direct heat can fade the shade and dull the base.

Care: Dust the base and shade with a soft, dry cloth; wipe the base with a barely damp cloth and mild soap only if needed, then dry at once. Keep the shade dry.

Avoid: Water on the wiring or fitting; damp environments that can stain or warp the shade; prolonged sunlight and direct heat that degrade the finish.

Suitable for: Accent lighting for consoles, side tables, sideboards and indoor living or dining spaces.
