The Lente Bowl belongs to Mario Luca Giusti's most optically playful sub-line — its concentric ribbed surface works like a magnifying glass, bending and intensifying colour until whatever sits inside looks twice as luminous. Made in Florentine Synthetic Crystal acrylic, it pairs naturally with the Lente glassware or stands alone as the centrepiece of the table.

While most Mario Luca Giusti pieces draw on Baroque silhouettes, the Lente language is spare and almost architectural — all the character lives in refraction. Run a finger across those lens-cut rings and amber deepens to warm gold, royal blue sharpens to the colour of the Ligurian sea at dusk.

As a fruit bowl on a villa terrace, a mezze companion beside the pool, or a salad centrepiece aboard a charter yacht, the Lente Bowl earns its place through sheer visual presence. Lightweight enough to carry anywhere, polished enough to anchor any table.

Food-grade acrylic, also called synthetic crystal, is lightweight, shatter-resistant and crystal-clear for drinkware and serveware. It is comfortable with chilled and room-temperature drinks, but not microwave-safe, not oven-safe and not for boiling or very hot liquids, which can cloud or warp the material; prolonged direct sunlight can dull clarity over time.

Care: Hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and a soft cloth, then rinse and pat dry; plain undecorated pieces may go on the dishwasher's top rack on a cool cycle below 50°C, while hand-decorated pieces should always be hand-washed. Wash promptly after dairy, coffee, tea or alcohol.

Avoid: Microwave, oven and freezer; dishwasher cycles above 50°C; boiling or very hot liquids; prolonged alcohol or aniseed-drink contact; prolonged direct sun; abrasive pads, steel wool, bleach, benzene and strong solvents; metal stirrers and knife contact that scratch the surface.

Suitable for: Terrace and garden dining, poolside and yacht service, and outdoor entertaining.
