Two Italian porcelain coffee cups that turn the morning espresso ritual into something worth slowing down for. Designed at Casa Baci in Milan, this set belongs to Baci Milano's Dolce Vita collection — a love letter to Mediterranean living captured in vivid colour and joyful design.

The collection draws its spirit from the golden warmth of Mediterranean light: a signature smiling sun at its centre, bold royal blue and vivid red at its edges, and motifs pulled from the sun-drenched tables of southern Italy. On a coffee cup, this exuberance becomes intimate — a small canvas that holds all the optimism of la dolce vita in the palm of your hand.

In Dubai, the coffee moment is sacred whether you take it Italian-style or with karak on the side. These porcelain cups sit equally at home on a villa breakfast table, a boutique café counter, or a hospitality tray welcoming guests. Presented in a Baci Milano gift box, they make a considered and ready-made gesture for any special occasion.

Fine vitrified porcelain with a hard, glazed, food-safe surface that resists staining and odour. Plain undecorated pieces tolerate everyday use and the microwave, while any 24 kt gold, platinum or metallic detail must never be microwaved; porcelain is not for the oven or freezer and can crack under sudden thermal shock.

Care: Hand-wash decorated, gilded or hand-painted pieces in warm water with mild soap and a soft sponge, then dry immediately; plain undecorated porcelain may be washed gently by hand or on a top-rack dishwasher cycle.

Avoid: Microwaving metallic-decorated pieces; the oven and freezer; sudden temperature changes; abrasive pads, steel wool, scouring powders, undiluted bleach, prolonged acidic or strongly coloured food contact, knocks and drops.

Suitable for: Formal and everyday dining, tea service, desserts, gifting and considered table settings.

Dolce Vita

Dolce Vita by Baci Milano puts a smiling sun at the centre of the table. Royal blue, bold red and warm yellow carry Mediterranean symbols across porcelain plates, cups and serving pieces — the Trinacria of Sicily, palms, amphorae and the words la vita è bella.
