The Lente Tall Tumbler is Mario Luca Giusti's signature long-drink glass in Synthetic Crystal acrylic — sculpted with a deep, ribbed lens-cut surface that wraps the full height of the glass and bends light the way a row of small magnifying lenses would. Hold it toward the sun and the liquid dissolves into refractions; set it on the table and it reads, unmistakably, as cut crystal.

Designed in Mario Luca Giusti's Florentine atelier, the Lente family takes one idea — the lens — and carries it to its logical conclusion. The tall silhouette and full-height optical ribbing make this the natural glass for a gin and tonic, iced tea, or a morning juice served at a terrace table where the light does half the work of the styling.

Food-grade acrylic synthetic crystal that is lightweight, shatter-resistant and crystal-clear. It is comfortable with chilled and room-temperature drinks, but not microwave-safe, oven-safe or freezer-safe; boiling or very hot liquids can cloud and warp it, and prolonged direct sun may dull the clarity.

Care: Hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and a soft cloth, then rinse and pat dry; plain pieces may go on the dishwasher top rack on a cool cycle below 50°C, while hand-decorated pieces should always be hand-washed.

Avoid: The microwave, oven and freezer; dishwasher cycles above 50°C; very hot liquids; prolonged alcohol or aniseed-drink contact; abrasive pads, steel wool, bleach, benzene, strong solvents, metal stirrers and knife contact.

Suitable for: Terrace and garden dining, poolside service and outdoor entertaining.
