Sunset Safari sets a travel-story scene across this porcelain dinner plate, edged with hand-applied real gold for a formal place setting with a vivid designer point of view.
Part of Weissestal's Souvenir de Voyage collection, the plate is designed by Simone Guidarelli, whose award-winning wallpaper language moves onto Italian porcelain as a series of collectible scenes. Sunset Safari is one of eight motifs in the line, intended to mix around the table like illustrated postcards from a long imaginary journey. The decoration is applied by hand and finished through Weissestal's layered firing process, giving the gold trim the subtle irregularity of real hand work.
Use it as the main plate for statement dinners, layered over the collection's presentation plate, or alternated with other Souvenir de Voyage scenes for a table that feels collected rather than matched. It is designer porcelain dinnerware with a clear narrative, made for hosts who like the conversation to begin before the first course.

Care: Wash by hand soon after use in warm water with a mild soap and a soft sponge, rather than leaving food to dry on the glaze. Rinse and dry straight away with a soft cloth, paying particular attention to gold or platinum rims. Hold the vases by the base and handle the teapot, tureen and sugar bowl lids with care.
Avoid: The dishwasher, microwave, oven and tumble dryer; boiling liquid poured into a cold teapot, tureen or bowl; abrasive pads, scouring powders and bleach, which scratch the glaze and wear hand-applied gold and colour; and knocks or unprotected stacking, which chip rims.
Suitable for: Formal and everyday dining, tea and soup service, and presenting at the table or displaying as a gift or keepsake set.
Souvenir de Voyage is Simone Guidarelli’s porcelain for Weissestal — travel-inspired decor in black and white, rich in detail, finished with hand-applied real gold thread. Eight designs, eight worlds: each piece is unique yet harmoniously dialogues with the rest of the service.
