Six dinner plates that bring Sicily's most theatrical island to the table — the Ortigia Melamine Dinner Set by Baci Milano delivers Italian tableware with unmistakable personality. Baroque ornamentation meets Sicilian pop art on every plate, turning each meal into a visual occasion.
Ortigia — the ancient island at the heart of Syracuse — is where Baroque grandeur meets the raw vitality of Mediterranean street life. Baci Milano translates this duality through bold color and layered pattern: Sicilian Majolica motifs reinterpreted through a contemporary, fashion-forward lens, bringing the warmth and energy of Southern Italy to your dining table.
Melamine makes this set equally at home on a villa terrace or poolside setting as on an indoor table — perfectly suited to Dubai's outdoor entertaining culture. Durable enough for extended gatherings, refined enough to hold its own at a proper dinner.
A set of six is the natural anchor for a complete Ortigia table. Pair with the oval serving bowl or antistain tablecloth for a fully coordinated Italian dining experience — or present it as a considered gift to someone who takes their table seriously.

Care & Use
Food-safe premium melamine — tasteless, odourless and BPA-free, independently tested and certified (TUV, SGS, Intertek). It is rated from about -10 C to +50 C, accepts brief chilling, and is not microwave-safe or oven-safe; prolonged freezer storage degrades the resin.
Care: Use the dishwasher's standard top-rack cycle or wash by hand with mild soap and a soft sponge; hand-wash gold-detailed or hand-painted pieces, and rinse promptly after turmeric, saffron or other strong pigments.
Avoid: The microwave and oven; extended freezer storage; cutting directly on the surface; dishwasher heat and detergent on metallic trims; and leaving strong pigments to sit.
Suitable for: Terrace, garden and poolside dining, casual family meals, buffet service and high-volume hospitality.
More from This Collection
Ortigia
Ortigia is named for the island heart of Syracuse — Baroque architecture, Greek ruins and market colour distilled into tableware. Majolica-bright oranges, blues and yellows carry Sicilian symbols and ornate Baroque letterforms across melamine dinner sets, antistain cotton linens and porcelain — including monogram mugs and mini trays lettered A to V for personalised gifting.
