The Melania Vase is the most sculptural object in Seletti's Hybrid collection — a bulb-form bone-china piece by CTRLZAK Studio where the East-West collision wraps a three-dimensional form rather than lying flat across a plate.
On one face: cobalt chinoiserie peonies and willow-pattern scrollwork from Chinese export porcelain. On the other: baroque cartouches and heraldic crests in oxblood and ochre. The hard-edged chromatic seam between them — deliberate, loud, refusing to blend — is the design argument CTRLZAK has been making across the entire Hybrid line. On the Melania Vase, that argument becomes a statement object you can walk around. Named after a city in Italo Calvino's *Invisible Cities*, the original literary East-West conversation.
In a Dubai interior, Melania holds its own on a marble console, a boutique hotel sideboard, or a collector's shelf. It holds flowers or it holds nothing. Either way, it holds the room. Pair it with Hybrid dinner plates from across the named-cities range — no two pieces need to match.

Care & Use
Decorative glazed ceramic or porcelain, finished for display and handled as a décor object rather than tableware. Its glazed surface can chip from knocks or drops, scratch under abrasives, and mark or fade with prolonged standing water or direct sun.
Care: Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth; wipe only when needed with a barely damp cloth and mild soap, then dry immediately. If used as a vase, change the water regularly and rinse before refilling.
Avoid: Knocks and drops that chip the ceramic; abrasive cleaners that scratch the glaze; prolonged moisture that leaves mineral marks; and direct sunlight that can fade the colour.
Suitable for: Indoor display on a console, shelf, sideboard or mantel, with fresh or dried arrangements.

Hybrid
HYBRID stages a collision of worlds on fine bone porcelain. Created by Seletti with CTRLZAK studio, each piece splits down a bold coloured line: Eastern chinoiserie — peonies, dragons, willow trees — on one side, European heraldic ornament on the other.
