The Lacquered Tray Swell is a display piece that earns a permanent spot on the coffee table — not just for what it holds, but for how it looks doing it. The Maroon/Pink colourway brings a confident, considered warmth to any surface: a sideboard, a reading nook, a kitchen island styled for guests.

This is the Printworks philosophy in its most direct form — an everyday object elevated by deliberate design. The lacquered surface has a clean, polished finish that catches light without shouting; the colour pairing is bold enough to anchor a room without overwhelming it. Scandinavian restraint, expressed in a warmer register than you might expect.

In a Dubai home, this tray moves naturally between functions — arranging qahwa cups before guests arrive, framing a candle and a small plant on a majlis side table, or corralling the morning ritual on a bedroom dresser. The kind of housewarming gift people actually keep out.

We ship from Dubai to the USA, Australia and selected international destinations.

Shipping to the USA and Australia starts from AED 50-70 and usually takes 5-12 working days.

For other countries, final delivery cost and estimated timeframe are calculated at checkout based on your destination.

Import duties, taxes or customs fees may apply and are paid by the recipient where required.

Returns are accepted within 14 days for unused items in their original packaging.

Mixed decorative materials combine elements such as cloth, paper, board, wood, glass, metal or resin, each reacting differently to moisture and heat. Keep dry and handle gently, since multi-material joins are a structural weak point.

Care: Dust with a soft, dry cloth; wipe with a barely damp cloth only when needed, then dry immediately with a soft cloth. Keep handling to a minimum.

Avoid: Damp, standing water and rough handling; abrasive tools, bleach, alcohol and strong solvents; direct sun and temperature extremes, which can warp, fade or weaken different components at different rates.

Suitable for: Display on consoles, shelves, sideboards or coffee tables.

Printworks

Printworks was founded in Stockholm in 2017 by two former advertising creatives as a coffee-table concept: beautifully designed analogue objects answering digital fatigue. Chess and backgammon in book-box formats, cloth-bound photo albums, cocktail and wine tool kits, colour pencils and scented candles all share the same Scandinavian warmth.
