The Oriental Dream coffee cup pairs a covered porcelain form with hand-applied real gold trim from Weissestal's Souvenir de Voyage line. Made in Italian porcelain with a matching saucer and lid, it frames the daily espresso ritual with designer detail and hand-applied real gold trim.
Souvenir de Voyage was designed by Simone Guidarelli, the stylist and creative director whose wallpaper work for the collection won the Archiproducts Design Award in 2024. Oriental Dream is one of eight named scenes in the series, conceived like porcelain postcards from imagined journeys and finished through Weissestal's layered hand process.
On the table, this coffee cup works as a single refined accent or as part of a mixed service with the collection's plates, cups, tureen and cake stands. Its covered form suits after-dinner coffee, formal breakfast settings and thoughtful milestone gifting, while the gold detail gives the piece a collected, heirloom-minded character.

Care & Use
Care: Wash by hand soon after use in warm water with a mild soap and a soft sponge, rather than leaving food to dry on the glaze. Rinse and dry straight away with a soft cloth, paying particular attention to gold or platinum rims. Hold the vases by the base and handle the teapot, tureen and sugar bowl lids with care.
Avoid: The dishwasher, microwave, oven and tumble dryer; boiling liquid poured into a cold teapot, tureen or bowl; abrasive pads, scouring powders and bleach, which scratch the glaze and wear hand-applied gold and colour; and knocks or unprotected stacking, which chip rims.
Suitable for: Formal and everyday dining, tea and soup service, and presenting at the table or displaying as a gift or keepsake set.
