Care & Use
Food-grade acrylic, also known as synthetic crystal, is lightweight, clear and shatter-resistant for table settings where the look of cut crystal is wanted without glass fragility. It is not microwave-safe or oven-safe; keep it away from hobs, ovens and very hot food, and use only cool washing temperatures because high heat can cloud or warp the surface.
Care: Hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and a soft cloth; if the pieces are plain, use only the dishwasher's top rack on a cool, gentle cycle. Rinse and pat dry promptly, especially after food colouring, oils or sauces.
Avoid: Microwaves, ovens, hobs and very hot food; abrasive pads, steel wool, bleach and strong solvents; knife contact and metal utensils that scratch the finish; prolonged UV exposure; and stacking pieces while still damp.
Suitable for: Terrace and garden dining, buffet service, outdoor entertaining and everyday indoor table settings.
