Description

The Ortigia Melamine Appetizer Set brings the spirited ritual of Sicilian aperitivo to your table — seven coordinated pieces dressed in the bold Baroque-meets-pop-art palette that has made Baci Milano's most vivacious collection a design favourite.

Ortigia is the ancient island heart of Syracuse, where Baroque cathedrals rise above sun-bleached piazzas and market vendors crowd narrow lanes with olives, almonds, and candied citrus. The collection distils that sensory richness — vivid Mediterranean hues, ornate Sicilian motifs, and an irreverent pop-art energy — into every surface. On a shared serving set, those elements feel entirely at home: small bites passed around a table, conversation stretching lazily into the evening, the whole scene as generous as the island itself.

Premium Italian melamine carries the elegance of fine porcelain without the fragility, making this seven-piece set as suited to a yacht deck or villa terrace as to an indoor dining room. Whether anchoring a weekend brunch spread or a sundown gathering by the pool, it brings Sicilian colour and character in equal measure.

A striking housewarming gift for hosts who appreciate Italian design with genuine personality.

Delivery & Returns

We ship from Dubai to the USA, Australia and selected international destinations.

Shipping to the USA and Australia starts from AED 50-70 and usually takes 5-12 working days.

For other countries, final delivery cost and estimated timeframe are calculated at checkout based on your destination.

Import duties, taxes or customs fees may apply and are paid by the recipient where required.

Returns are accepted within 14 days for unused items in their original packaging.
Care & Use

Food-safe premium melamine — tasteless, odourless and BPA-free, independently tested and certified (TUV, SGS, Intertek). It is rated from about -10 C to +50 C, accepts brief chilling, and is not microwave-safe or oven-safe; prolonged freezer storage degrades the resin.

Care: Use the dishwasher's standard top-rack cycle or wash by hand with mild soap and a soft sponge; hand-wash gold-detailed or hand-painted pieces, and rinse promptly after turmeric, saffron or other strong pigments.

Avoid: The microwave and oven; extended freezer storage; cutting directly on the surface; dishwasher heat and detergent on metallic trims; and leaving strong pigments to sit.

Suitable for: Terrace, garden and poolside dining, casual family meals, buffet service and high-volume hospitality.

Ortigia

Ortigia is named for the island heart of Syracuse — Baroque architecture, Greek ruins and market colour distilled into tableware. Majolica-bright oranges, blues and yellows carry Sicilian symbols and ornate Baroque letterforms across melamine dinner sets, antistain cotton linens and porcelain — including monogram mugs and mini trays lettered A to V for personalised gifting.
