The Star ornament from Il Natale del Re is a hand-embroidered fabric decoration where dimensional, padded stitching catches the light in a way no printed bauble can. Designed at Casa Baci in Milan, it is a small textile artwork — each one individually finished, no two perfectly identical.
Il Natale del Re — The King's Christmas — draws its vocabulary from British festive tradition: the rocking horse, the vintage car, the ice skate on a frozen pond. The Star is the night-sky counterpart to the Crown that names the collection, hand-sewn in deep jewel tones and built to return to the tree each year carrying a little more meaning.
